[31] Magazines/Journal Articles: Print Article Obtained from a Database

Use the Journal Article reference type for journal or the Magazine Article reference type for magazine articles. The example below is exactly the same as the one in Print Article Obtained in Print above except that it came from a database service that provides other publisher's articles.

  1. Use Database: for the name of the service (Dialog), the section of the service (ERIC), and the record number (ED 209637).
  2. Enter the Retrieved Date: in full.
  3. Note that there is no URL for this online service because it is always a dynamic URL and will change for each new user.
