The Lehigh University Libraries have entered into a cost-neutral Open Access (OA) agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP) for 2024 and 2025 via the Lyrasis consortium. This is a “read and publish” agreement that maintains subscription access to all CUP journals. Lehigh University-affiliated corresponding authors can also publish their eligible, accepted articles OA in CUP journals at no cost to the researcher. This covers both Gold OA (all articles are OA) and hybrid (some articles are OA, some are subscription-access) journals.
Information on eligible article types can be viewed here: https://www.cambridge.org/core/open-research/article-type-definitions
Journal eligibility can be confirmed using CUP's Eligibility Checker tool: https://www.cambridge.org/core/waivers-discounts
Important note: While not a requirement, it is best to use your Lehigh.edu email address throughout the process to ensure your article is identified as eligible under this agreement.
Steps for authors:
After following these steps, your article should be published OA at no cost to you.
This information is also described in the .PDF step-by-step guide linked below.
