Federal Depository Library Program

The Lehigh University Library Services has been a designated member of the Federal Depository Library Program  (FDLP) since 1876. Lehigh University is the longest serving Federal Depository Library in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

 

Scope of the Collection

The information produced by federal agencies and issued through the Government Publishing Office offer a wealth of information on numerous topics from Science and Technology, to Congressional Hearings and Regulatory information.

The major strengths of Lehigh's collections includes the following:

  • Census and Demographic Information
  • Federal Legislation
  • Education
  • Military History
  • National Parks Service
  • International Affairs

The vast majority of the library's government publications are located at the Library Materials Center (LMC) and can be found using ASA. If you'd like a document sent from the LMC to lower campus, please use the Request Form

ASA - The Library Catalog

Search ASA, the library's catalog to find, or check access to, books, ebooks, journals, ejournals, conference papers, government documents and more. From ASA you can:

  • Renew your books online
  • Text the call number, title, and location of a book to your cell phone
  • Create reading lists

 

The "Catalog" tab in ASA shows the libraries' holdings or access to a specific journal, but it cannot be used to locate specific journal articles. To locate specific journal articles, use the "Articles" tab in the box on the Library's home page:
