Course Readings: Resources

Introduction

This guide helps faculty identify affordable textbooks and other course materials for use in classes, whether as primary or supplementary readings.

Faculty can leverage the library's holdings for this purpose, including ebooks and articles--thereby saving money for students.

Since Lehigh's subscriptions to these align with Lehigh curricula and research, the libraries provide many materials that can be used as supplementary course readings and, in the case of ebooks, as textbooks.

There are also many open, i.e. freely accessible, materials on the web, including textbooks. See the "Open Educational Resources" page of this guide.

Contact a Subject Librarian for assistance in identifying library resources for use in your classes, whether ebooks, reference materials, or scholarly articles.
