Pivot-RP

What is Pivot-RP?

Pivot-RP provides global and local connections that strengthen research by exploring new avenues for funding and collaboration for faculty, staff researchers, and graduate students. Pivot-RP is a power tool that:

  • Provides access to the most comprehensive global source of funding opportunities—totaling billions of dollars and growing
  • Identifies researcher expertise from within or outside of your organization from millions of profiles from leading research organizations worldwide (more than 3.6 million researcher profiles)
  • Fosters collaboration by cultivating essential partnerships and alliances
  • Enhances communication, monitoring, and tracking amongst individual faculty, teams, or researchers and the Research Development office
  • Allows the focus to be on winning the necessary awards and grants
  • Builds strong network connections for future opportunities
  • Allow you to include your institution’s internal funding within Pivot-RP
  • Help your institution gain more attention with the Pivot-RP Profiles

Pivot RP is made available to the Lehigh community through the Lehigh Libraries and the Office of the Vice President and Associate Provost for Research. 

Getting Started

Lehigh users can search Pivot with or without an account. An account enables profile creation, saved searches, and other functionality that makes the most of Pivot's features.  Please note that if you are off-campus and do not have a linked Lehigh account you will need to connect to the Library Resources VPN to search the database.

To create an account, follow the directions below. To claim a previously created account, follow these directions.

1. Go to pivot.proquest.com and click "Create account". 

 

2. Click "Use Email Address/Create Password". 


 

4. Enter your information. Be sure to select Lehigh University as your institution.

 

5. Check your email for a confirmation. Once confirmed, you will be able to sign in with your newly created credentials.
