American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering
The AIMBE is a non-profit advocacy group of societies, academics, and commercial organizations. Its Council of Societies members are sources for good research.

Biomedical Engineering Society
The Biomedical Engineering Society (founded 1968) publishes three journals and sponsors two annual meetings: BME (Biomedical Engineering) and CMBE (Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering). Lehigh subscribes to its Annals of Biomedical Engineering.
