Artificial Intelligence

❍ Definitions

Artificial intelligence is a broad concept, which encompasses machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.  More specifically, artificial intelligence is any technique which enables machines to mimic human behavior.

Machine learning is an extension of artificial intelligence in which computers write code using algorithms.

Deep learning is a subset of machine learning, which allows computers to perform complex tasks.

Generative AI relies on patterns in its training data to create content, which can include code, images, text, and video.

Bias is a type of error that can occur in a large language model if its output is skewed by the model’s training data.
