Library Resources for Engineers

An overview of resources provided by the Lehigh University Libraries that are useful for Engineering research.

Contact the Engineering Librarian for Help!

Don't know where to start or stuck with your research? The Engineering Librarian supports students, faculty, and researchers in locating, evaluating, and using engineering information effectively. Assistance includes:

  • Searching for and accessing scholarly articles, books, standards, datasets, patents, and reports (as outlined in the other sections of this guide).

  • Developing more advanced search strategies.

  • Navigating key databases such as Compendex, IEEE Xplore, and Web of Science.

  • Making requests for content not provided by the Libraries using Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

  • Organizing and citing sources using Zotero.

Consultations are available in person, via Zoom, or by email. Questions of any type, whether starting a project or locating a single hard-to-find standard, are welcome!
