There are four modes of access.
(1) Direct install to computer
Download to computer for faculty and staff is available at https://software.lehigh.edu/install/.
(2) Virtualized LUapps version
Faculty, staff and students can use Maple off LUapps. For details, see: LUapps FAQ.
(3) Maple Study Guides
Faculty, staff, and students now have unlimited access to three Maple study guides.
Once downloaded, they are accessible by clicking on them. Contact Brian Simboli for the download instructions. (Also, note that these guides are included in the next version of MapleSoft.)
(4) Note to instructors about student access to Maple
If instructors recommend to students the use of the virtual version (LUApps) of Maple, but a student has difficulty accessing, the student should contact the help desk for assistance. If for technical reasons the problem cannot be rectified, the student should ask the help desk to contact Brian Simboli, who can contact the vendor for a possible backup solution in such cases.
Faculty may also be interested in the following solution, if the LUApps version does not suffice for student needs.
